Barnsley Bikers Club
Celebrating over 30 years of motorbiking
20th September, 2017
Barnsley Bikers were very pleased to present a cheque for £1228.72 to Barnsley Blind & Partially Sighted Association for the money raised from this years Show With Go.
BBPSA is a small local charity and supports all visually impaired people, of all ages, in all areas of Barnsley Borough, in welfare and benefits providing guidance and advice. Further details of the charity can be found by clicking on the BBPSA logo above, or by clicking here.
BSARCS representatives accepting the cheque thanked the club members for the generous donation.
The monies raised will go towards providing Christmas lunch for the people they support and also towards funding a computer centre with specialist equipment.
Every year, Barnsley Bikers Club selects a small local charity to support as part of the Barnsley Motorcycle Festival (also known as the Show With Go). The Show With Go is held at Wombwell Kart Track and gives bikers the opportunity to ride and parade their bikes around a 1/4 mile silky smooth track. For more information on the Show With Go, click here to visit the website, or search for Barnsley Motorcycle Festival on Facebook.
A big thank you also to our show sponsors:
