Ring of Red

Start time 11am from Morrisons petrol station. As usual I'm the last to turn up all fueled up n ready for the off.

Informed all attendees we are using the drop off system wich worked a treat, no-one getting lost (one up for the non-swearing non-member (double points rich B)).

A steady pace up to Holmfirt,h into the centre where Colin n Stuart left us turning right. We head out of Holmfirth heading owards towards Saddleworth Moor. The group then turned right towards Meltham following the twisty road through the village and onward towards Marsden around the lovley sweeping bends, on the hills, dropping down into Delph following some more twisty roads. We arrived at Shaw then picked the signs up for the M62.

Sadly we jumped onto the M62 heading towards Manchester Birch services 4 miles away.

Arriving at Birch services about 12;15 where we joined the 1409 other fellow bikers.

The journey was about 51 miles ('ish).

We then departed the services en-mass onto the M62. We only did about 6 junctions as agreed by all the group, before we turned off onto the M67 towards home, calling at Mcd`s for a coffee. 30 mins later we saddle up again for the last leg home.

Attendees: Myself (Lee), Rich B, Colin, Cruiser Colin, Roger, Andre, Stuart and Nick.
